I Gave Up Coffee for Lent – Day 8

Happy Wednesday!

I am feeling much better today than I did yesterday. I think the slightly larger lunch and remembering to bring my tea to work helped. The weather is super dreary in Houston so I wish I could take a nap but I don’t feel tired if that makes any sense.

I’m going to have a busy few days the next week so let’s hope/pray/wish that the fun events don’t make me desire a cup of coffee too much because I’m doing so well.

After work it’s off to the gym then I plan on sitting on my couch to enjoy one last night of relaxation before Rodeo Season kicks off in Houston.

I Gave Up Coffee For Lent – Day 7

Hello! I am DRAGGING today. . .and slightly irritable. For starters, my work laptop had some issues this morning and decided to lock me out. Then my charging cord was actually draining my iPhone battery instead of charging it. Has this happened to anyone else? Now, my iPhone and Apple Watch won’t talk to each other. Technology is not my friend today and all I want is a nice double shot of espresso. Oh and I ran out of tea at work. So all in all, I want a do over except I want it to be Friday.

Enough about that, I’m going to finish today with some positive thoughts that I’m doing something great for my body and spirit.

I Gave Up Coffee For Lent

Hello! I survived day 1 of no coffee.

This is how I thought I would feel. . . .

This is how I felt. . . .

Ok maybe that’s a little much but I didn’t feel any side effects and I felt like I had more energy.

This could all be a rouse and I could be punched in the face by side effects tomorrow (day 3). Today I’m going to bask in more hot tea and water.

Come back tomorrow to see how day 2 goes!
